Make sure you take the time to read the Pre&Post Operation Guidelines in order to be well informed about your specific surgery.
3 to 4 days prior to your arrival day, our Communications Team will reach out and inform you about where you’ll be picked up from, what your schedule will be like, etc.
After your pick up from the airport and a possible stop by the hospital for a blood test, it’s time to check in to the hotel. Your blood test date may differ. You will be informed via WhatsApp in advance.
Our nurse might visit you for the Covid test after 8 PM. If the test is required, you will be informed.
Meeting with Our Patient Relations for the pre-surgery concerns. As they are stationed at the hotel during your recovery, they will help with your concerns & requests regarding the hotel.
Possible Anesthesia Consultation may be required depending on hospital regulations. It may be done one day prior or on your surgery day. You will be texted via WhatsApp in advance.
Take advantage of your free time before your surgery for non-surgical treatments at our Clinic by VipMedi. If you don’t have any consultations planned for the day, you can check our City Tours to make the most of your stay before your big day!
Once the hospital confirms the exact timing to us, you will be informed regarding your surgery pick-up time around 5 PM, the day before your surgery.
When taken to the hospital you will meet our Hospital Coordinator. If you’re taken to the hospital the night before your surgery as per hospital regulations, you will meet your hospital coordinator in the morning.
Your surgeon will visit you in your hospital room on the morning of your surgery for the physical consultation.
SURGERY TIME
Depending on the surgery you will stay 1 to 2 nights at the hospital.
You will be discharged from the hospital and taken to the hotel.
After arriving at the hotel, Nurse Team will provide you with all the necessary medications and post-op items. You will be instructed on how to use each one of them. They will be on shift 24/7 and just a phone call away.
Patient Relations and Nursing Team are always at your service at the hotel for any assistance related to the hotel or medical situations.
You will have daily post-op visits by our Medical Post-op Team until your last check-up with your operating surgeon.
The daily doctor and nurse visits will continue each day until your departure.
If there is a chance you might miss your last check with your operating surgeon, now is the time to inform your Patient Relations Specialist.

The time of your last check-up with your operating surgeon will be determined the day before the assigned check-up date. Once the surgeon’s schedule is set, you’ll be informed.
It’s the final check-up day with your operating surgeon!
Make sure to read the Post Operation Guidelines related to your surgery. If you have any remaining questions prepare them beforehand for your final check-up with our surgeon.
Your operating surgeon will tell us if you are fit to fly, and we will prepare a document accordingly. You might need to present it to the officials before boarding the plane.
In case you think you need more time to go back to your normal schedule, we can prepare a Sick Leave report for you.
You will be informed about your airport pick-up timing around 5 PM, a day before your departure.
